Objection

Exaltation and Eternal Families

The restored gospel provides temple ordinances and eternal family sealing necessary for exaltation.

Christians should honor the seriousness of family hope while rejecting any system that makes final salvation depend on later temple authority rather than God's grace in the apostolic gospel.

Take the hope seriously

Latter-day Saint teaching about eternal families is pastorally powerful because it addresses love, death, and lasting belonging. A fair Christian answer should not mock that hope.

Ask what the gospel requires

Paul grounds salvation in grace through faith, not in a later temple system. Any teaching about exaltation must be tested by whether it preserves the apostolic gospel.
